2026 Exhibitions
A lifetime of experience, learning, and practice has refined my skills, artistic style, and message. For many years, I have recorded and preserved deeply felt visual impressions and ideas, knowing they would one day find their form. I now feel prepared to begin bringing these messages to light through paint in a uniquely personal and meaningful way.
I am pleased to announce that in 2026 David Koch Artist Gallery will host three exhibitions, each centered on specific themes and subjects:
Son Light — May 29, 6:00 p.m.
A Christian-themed exhibition exploring faith, light, and purpose.
Familiar Ground — August 28, 6:00 p.m.
Paintings inspired by the local landscape.
Light From Afar — November 20, 6:00 p.m.
Annual Studio Tour
Paintings drawn from travel experiences and observation.
Each exhibition will feature at least ten new oil paintings in a range of sizes and prices. Opening night will be the first opportunity to view and acquire the work. Any remaining works will be made available online beginning the following morning at 10:00 a.m. I will be present on opening night to introduce the series and meet guests personally, offering context and insight into the ideas behind the work.
The original paintings will remain on display for one week following each opening. In the weeks leading up to each show, preview images and behind-the-scenes insights will be shared at davidkochartist.com, through this newsletter, and on social media.
The announcement of these exhibitions marks the beginning of an exciting new year. I look forward to the experience of creating this work and to sharing its light and message with you and your family.
