Limited Edition Giclée Print on Canvas
The idea for this painting came as I visited the Sacred Grove in early May. The weather was cool and the leafless trees where wet with mist and rain. I imagined a young Joseph Smith as he knelt on a carpet of last year’s leaves, his pants damp from his early morning walk through the tall grass and undergrowth. It was a pleasure to try to depict this glorious event that changed the world.
