Course 3
ABSTRACT
Course 3 covers principles that make your art visually appealing, memorable and unique. The poetry, message, mood, brushwork, edges, texture and personal style of a piece of art will be studied and explored. The methods used include painting from life and imagination, idea sketches, creating images from abstract concepts and discovering the work of different artists.
Other principles covered include: Art marketing and social media, The business of art, Galleries and Personal Improvement.
Studio space will be available to complete assignments in a studio setting.
Gallery space will be provided for display and sale of works completed during the course.
Two guest artists will give a demo/lecture to provide additional insight and experience.
